Dabangg is a 2010 Hindi action film, directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan.It is the first film of the newly launched Arbaaz Khan Productions. The lead actors in the film include Arbaaz's elder brother, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrughan SinhaCorrupt cop Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) needs to bridge the distance with his step brother, Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) and stepdad, Vinod Khanna, on the behest of his mother (Dimple Kapadia) even as he needs to set his own house in order by marrying the potter girl (Sonakshi Sinha) who refuses to succumb to his charms. And if that's not enough, there's the local goon, Sonu Sood and the crumbling administration of the small town that is craving his attention too.
The Dabangg soundtrack of the film have been composed by music director duo Sajid Wajid, Lalit Pandit and Jatin-Lalit duo, while the letters were written by Faiz Anwar, Lalit Pandit and Jalees Sherwani. Lalit Pandit did a song titled Badnaam Munni. The music was released on August 6, 2010 in Delhi. The album contains five original songs, four remixes and a song.
